DUCT CLEANING

Just like everyone has a different opinion on how often to clean their own home, there are a lot of different opinions on how often a Homes Air Duct System should be cleaned, and what method should be used to clean them.
There are 2 main factors to consider when deciding how often, and how well you want your air ducts cleaned.
We believe that Air Ducts play a big part in the health of residents living inside a home. Air Ducts are "Grand Central Station" for every ounce of air that you breathe inside your home.
Imagine choosing not to clean your Master Bedroom in your home for 1 full calendar year. How much dust would gather? How gross would it become, and how sick would you get sleeping there each night? This is a good analogy because the duct space in your home is about equal to a 400 square foot Master Bedroom.
Air Ducts also play a part in your budget. What do I mean? Well, most people fall under 2 categories.
The first category is a homeowner who owns an old, fairly inefficient furnace. An old system that is not cleaned and maintained will have to work harder using more energy each month and repair needs are more likely during the harsh winter season.
The second category is the homeowner that has recently invested in a new High Efficiency Furnace to lower their utility bills. A new system that is not cleaned and maintained will have to work harder using more energy each month, and experience a much shorter life than expected. More importantly, all heating and cooling equipment manufacturer warranty terms state that lack of yearly maintenance will void the warranty on your new furnace and ac.
By having your air ducts cleaned regularly, you'll help improve the quality of air you breathe, as well as enhance the efficiency, prolong the life, and minimize repairs on your homes heating and cooling system.
